Richard Nance is a full-time, municipal police officer with a Northern California police department. During his nearly 20-year career, Richard has served as a SWAT Team Leader, Firearms Instructor, and Defensive Tactics Instructor in addition to his patrol duties.

J. Scott Rupp
J. Scott Rupp is editor-in-chief of Handguns and Rifle Shooter magazines and has served as executive producer on Handguns and Personal Defense television shows as well as producer/co-host on Ruger Inside & Out. He is a former member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and was an NRA All American small-bore rifle shooter at Eastern Kentucky University.

Brad Fitzpatrick is the author of The Shooter's Bible Guide to Concealed Carry and is the Gear Editor at Handguns Magazine. He has competed in IDPA pistol competitions for the last 10 years and has written over 500 articles for Handguns, Rifle Shooter, and other firearms publications. He's also an avid handgun hunter and 4-H shooting sports instructor.
