Meet The Host

Michael Lee

Michael grew up in the woods and on the water of the Flint River in South Georgia. From a young age, he learned to appreciate the outdoors. He was taught how to hunt and fish by his father and grandfathers. Michael graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, so he really is the “high-tech redneck”.

Kevin Knighton

Kevin was born and raised in the backwoods of rural Florida, where he still lives today. Taught early on how to hunt deer in the swamps by his dad and family, Kevin learned how to hone his skills for hunting across the country. Kevin produces the show and has been the force behind top-quality production in the Backwoods Life camp.
